Patriots QB Mac Jones Gifts Bitcoin To His Entire Offensive Line

The rookie quarterback for the New England Patriots, Mac Jones, is giving what he thinks is one of the best gifts to his entire offensive line for Christmas, Bitcoin.

It has now become a tradition for quarterbacks to give gifts to their offensive lines for Christmas. The thinking being they are less likely to “miss” that free blitzer coming off the edge if they get a thoughtful Xmas gift. However, no quarterback to date has been reported to gift their entire offensive line crypto, and this Christmas Mac Jones changed that.

In an interview with Bitcoin Magazine, he mentioned how he’s been learning about Bitcoin for a while:

“I’ve been studying Bitcoin for a while now. This year I just knew I had to give some Bitcoin to my teammates… So I reached out to Bitcoin Magazine and asked for help on how to give Bitcoin as a gift.”

Of course, Bitcoin Magazine helped him out and he has successfully gifted his twelve offensive lineman Bitcoin for Christmas. Apparently, it was a decent amount of Bitcoin for each of the twelve linemen charged with keeping Jones upright. Veteran center and guard Ted Karras said “He did an outstanding job. We got a big haul over here…One of the best efforts, especially by a rookie, to show appreciation and wish us a Merry Christmas”.

It seems like everyday has a new story about a high-profile athlete or celebrity getting into crypto, whether its Bitcoin, NFTs, metaverses, etc. Mac Jones added himself and his offensive line to that list this Christmas, and maybe next Christmas, Bill Belichick will give the entire Patriots team some Bitcoin for Christmas.

Famously, former Patriot QB Tom Brady revealed himself to be a Bitcoin bull earlier this year. We eagerly await the competitive 7-time Super Bowl champion’s next move.
