Finders Expert Predictions For Shiba Inu: How High Can The Price Go In 2025?

The Shiba Inu price continues to attract the attention of analysts, who are watching for its next potential move. A recent report from Finder, based on the insights of 26 crypto industry experts, reveals a cautiously optimistic outlook for SHIB.  Finder, a US-based information service, released a new quarterly report featuring price predictions for Shiba Inu in 2025. The report is based on a comprehensive survey conducted in January 2025, during which 26 crypto industry specialists shared their insights on Shiba Inus potential price by the end of 2025 and its projected performance through 2035.   Diverging Opinions On SHIB Price In 2025 According to the panel, Shiba Inu is forecasted to reach an average price of $0.0000399 by years end, marking an 84.3% increase from its January starting point of about $0.00002165. For its long-term price projection, the panel predicts that the popular meme coin will see a steady rise in the following years, erasing one zero to reach $0.0001971 by 2030 and $0.0008543 by 2035.  Related Reading: Bitcoin Analyst Says Shiba Inu Price Is Not Hitting $1 Heres Why Gracy Chen, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bitget, a crypto exchange, is among the most bullish voices among the panelists for the Shiba Inu price outlook. Chen cites SHIBs positive technical indicators and recent support/resistance developments as signs of an ongoing bullish trend. She projects that the Shiba Inu price could hit a new target of $0.00006 by year-end. This represents 445.45%. Increase from the meme coins current market value of $0.000011. Similarly, Ruadhan O, founder of Seasonal Tokens, sees SHIB closing 2025 at $0.00005, though he warns of Dogecoins enduring dominance in the space. He believes that Dogecoin will most likely take the spotlight away from SHIB, making it unlikely for it to reach a new all-time high this year.  Notably, not all panelists share the same bullish optimism for Shiba Inu. John Hawkins, a senior lecturer at the University of Canberra, projects that the price of SHIB will crash significantly, losing half of its value in 2025, falling to as low as $0.00001. His bearish prediction stems from the belief that meme coins could experience a similar decline to that of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Hawks points to broader macro trends like US President Donald Trumps political influence and Bitcoins dominance as key barriers that would limit meme coins’ growth.  Shiba Inu And Dogecoin Rivalry Continues  Despite the majority of Finders panelists having significantly bullish projections for the Shiba Inu price, 79% of them agree that SHIB will never surpass Dogecoin in market capitalization. Sathvik Vishwanath, the CEO of Unocoin, believes SHIBs substantial circulating supply currently and speculative nature limit its long-term bullish prospects. This is despite its rapidly evolving ecosystem, which includes innovative projects like ShibaSwap and the upcoming TREAT token. Related Reading: Shiba Inu Burn Update: 99.44% Daily Burn Crash Could Spell Trouble For Meme Coin When asked whether now is the right time to buy, sell, or hold SHIB tokens, the panel was divided: 57% recommended holding, 13% advised buying, and 30% suggested selling. In addition, opinions on Shiba Inus current valuation were mixed. 48% of the panel believed that SHIB was overpriced, while 44% stated that it was fairly priced.  Ronen Cojocaru, the CEO of 8081 Inc., was among the most bullish panelists. He forecasted that SHIB could hit $0.00000743 by year-end, although he acknowledged that Shiba Inu is currently overpriced. Featured image from Pixabay, chart from Tradingview.com

Retail crypto investment trends and attitudes – EndoTech key findings

EndoTech recently conducted a survey amid the ongoing crypto winter to evaluate the various crypto investment trends.

The survey comes at the height of regulatory uncertainties and an elongated crypto winter against the backdrop of several well-publicized crypto failures of firms like Voyager which held a takeover auction in September, Three Arrows Capital, and Celsius.

Key findings of the survey

1. 17% of American use cryptocurrencies

EndoTech found out that the percentage of Americans who own cryptocurrencies has flattened to 17% since the current crypto market is much more subdued both by the current crypto winter and the introduction of centralized crypto regulations.

2. Men are more into crypto than women

According to EndoTech’s survey, crypto penetration remains stronger among men than women. According to the survey, about 19% of American men own cryptocurrency while only about 13% of American women do.

3. Profits are the main driving factor for crypto investors

While crypto purists always back decentralized finance (DeFi) because of its technology and principles, the average investor is more interested in the potential for profits.

According to the survey, 47% of investors invest in crypto for profits while another 43% invest in crypto for the fundamental promise of decentralized finance. There is an 8% who invest in crypto to reject the principles of traditional, centralized financial institutions.

4. Confidence in cryptocurrencies has improved

According to the survey, investors are more confident in crypto than last year despite the current meltdown.

However, 60% of those surveyed portrayed a lack of trust in cryptocurrencies largely because of a lack of proper regulations.

5. Investors would be more interested to invest in crypto if there is more regulation

77% said that they would invest in crypto if there was more regulation to provide more guidelines and transparency on investing. However, the push to make DeFi answerable to centralized regulations seems antithetical to some including Laguna Labs CEO, Stefan Rust.

6. Investors see crypto as a hedge against inflation

Three-quarters of those surveyed see crypto as a hedge against roaring inflation going by the rampant inflation rates in the current and past quarter. Internal reports show inflation above 20% in the UK and 8% in the US forcing the US Federal Reserve to continuously raise interest rates.

7. The profit expectations of crypto investors are unrealistically high

94% of the surveyed investors expected to make more than 20% returns on their crypto investments. A further 41% are expected to make more than 50% returns.

However, the expectations have come to not, especially with nine months of persistent price erosion.

8. Crypto investors lost a significant last year

According to the survey, 29% of crypto investors have lost more than 50% of their money.

Conclusion

As investors see an opportunity in cryptocurrencies, they are also alive to the fact that regulations, environmentally responsible actions and advanced risk management tools can pave way for more profits.

Despite the high-profit expectations, investors are less likely to advise and encourage loved ones to participate in crypto owing to the market volatility that is associated with cryptocurrencies.

I got scammed out of $2,800 & now I’m going to try find the guy

George Bernard Shaw was a famous Irish playwright. He once said you should “never wrestle with a pig. You just get dirty, and the pig enjoys it”.

Well, I’ve been wrestling with pigs for a few years now. Not literally, of course. That would be weird, and I’d probably lose. What I’m referring to are cryptocurrency scammers. Having operated in the space since 2017 – a space which is, let’s be honest, home to its fair share of scam artists – last week I finally got dirty.

Because thanks to my own stupidity – and some very bad luck – there is a scammer out there somewhere who is likely throwing himself a nice little party. And I’m paying for it.

So, in the interests of therapeutic catharsis, this is my story. It helps to talk, right? Not to mention, if it helps at least one of you avoid a similar occurrence, it’s worth a few minutes of my time. And also, I’m going to try to track the guy on-chain and in the unlikely event I retrieve some funds, I’ll donate them to charity. If you want to help me, feel free to reach out!

How I got scammed

Thanks to a missed connection flight on my way back from El Salvador, I had my own Hollywood-movie ending late last Sunday eve. Only instead of sprinting through the airport to catch the love of my life, I was sprinting through Terminal 1 of Orlando airport to desperately book the last flight out.

Somehow, despite me already daydreaming about heading for the world’s saddest (and loneliest) daytrip to Disneyland on Monday morning while I served my time in Orlando, I managed to find an American Airlines flight to Miami that was boarding as I arrived at the gate. Pleading with the staff to let me buy a ticket, my luck was in and they let me buy a ticket then and there and board the plane.

Fast forward three hours and I arrive to my accommodation in Miami. Exhausted and dishevelled, I was in the kind of mood where even brushing my teeth felt like a momentous task. But I remembered I had to make a financial transaction from my Solana (Phantom) wallet before I was allowed the mercy of sleep, and so I pulled out my laptop and opened my wallet.

There was an issue with my token balance showing, so I messaged the Telegram group of guys I had previously worked with. One of them told me they would respond later – I’ll change his name but let’s call him Eddie.

Unbeknownst to myself, there was also a foreign party who had infiltrated the group chat. Seeing this “I’ll get back to you later” message from Eddie, the scammer then so his chance. He impersonated Eddie by changing his profile picture and name to match Eddie’s. And then he DM’d me.

“Hey, just following up after my message in the group chat – think I’ve sorted your issue”

Having been familiar with Eddie from working with him before – and chatting to him over the phone on many an occasion – I was trusting of him. We had never messaged on Telegram before, but I didn’t even think to check his handle (available in the “Details” of his Telegram profile) to verify it was the same Eddie as in the group. This would have seemed paranoid, but this is crypto and I should have known. It was my big mistake.

So, this was not Eddie I was talking to. For some reason, the fake Eddie didn’t give me his real name so I’m going to have to christen him too. Let’s call him Bernie.

Bernie

Bernie fed me some info about how to correct the issue. I won’t go into the details as it’s not important, but essentially he built a fake website which was one character off the actual URL. The fake imitation looked the exact same, yet again I should have checked – it’s a basic rule in the space. But tired and pining for bed after a long day’s travel, I was lazy. Again, a mistake.

My wallet was hacked and out went $2,800 in funds, mainly of USDC but also a little sprinkling of SOL and some other tokens.

Whoops.

On-chain tracking

Then I started tracking the funds on the blockchain. This is the scammer’s wallet.

The most frustrating thing is that Bernie is obviously somewhat intelligent with a deep understanding of blockchain and web building. It’s such a shame to see someone this able resort to stealing for a living.

“I need that money for my sick kid”, I told Bernie, seeing how far I could test his mettle.

“Sorry, bro”, he replied matter-of-factly.

“How do you sleep at night?”, I replied.

“Really well. Thx for asking” was Bernie’s response.

Bernie sent my non-USDC funds to the DEX Jupiter Aggregator, where he swapped them into USDC – under a cloak of anonymity. Before long, the funds ended up in this wallet, containing over half a million dollars.

Thoughts and detective work

I am lucky that I do not have a sick kid, thank God. I am also lucky that there was not more than $2,800 in my wallet. However, seeing the wealth in Bernie’s wallet and the complete lack of remorse he has, not to mention the almost arrogant pride with which he acts, makes my blood boil.

Bernie has no way of knowing my financial situation, yet he steals anyway. Not to mention, with the sheer number of people he is stealing from, who knows what situations they all come from?

For me, I’ve learned a lesson. I was silly, I feel like a fool and I paid the price. There is also very real anger at myself for donating my money to someone this despicable. For you, please make 100% certain you are ALWAYS on the right URL when transacting with your crypto wallets. And make sure that ANYBODY who messages you is exactly who you believe they are. Double and triple check, no matter how remote the possibility may seem.

Above all, what a waste that someone with the skills to build an excellent fake website and pull off such an elaborate scam is using those skills to make lives worse, rather than try to make the world a better place.

I’ll be diving deep detective-wise to continue following the funds the best I can, with a more exhaustive on-chain detective article to follow. If anyone wants to help in this fun (!) project to retrieve any of the funds, please reach out to me on Twitter @DanniiAshmore – if any money is recouped, anyone who helps me can vote what charity to donate it to.
