Ethereum Headed For Crucial Encounter At $4,000 Heres Why

Ethereum prices gained by over 4.6% in the past day to reach a peak of $2,634 before experiencing a slight retracement. In line with the bullish rhythm of the crypto market, the prominent altcoin has recorded significant price leaps in the past month, resulting in a total gain of 61.92% in this period. However, price patterns indicate that Ethereum is headed for a major encounter at $4,000, a price level with potential to neutralize or validate the current price uptrend. Related Reading: Ethereum Multi-Year Consolidation Could Spark A Parabolic Move Details ETH Must Surpass Long-Standing Resistance To Ignite Mega Rally In an X post on May 16, OKC partner and crypto analyst Ted Pillows highlighted an important price level for Ethereum amidst the ongoing bull trend. Notably, ETH has moved by over 60% in the past few weeks from $1400 to trade above $2,600. Based on the growing chart pattern and underlying market fundamentals, the altcoin is likely to maintain this uptrend in the short term. According to Ted Pillows, $4,000 can be described as a crucial price region for ETH bulls based on historical price data. Notably, Ethereum has been trading within a massive symmetrical triangle that began in Q3 2020 and has lasted over 1,500 days.  The $4,000 price level currently sits just below the upper boundary of this triangle, representing a significant opposition to further price gains. In 2024, Ethereum popularly faced rejection thrice at the $4,000 price level, even amidst general market upswings, raising speculations over the altcoins long-term profitability. If the ETH bulls can sustain the current market demand, another encounter with this major resistance level is likely on the cards. To confirm the altcoins participation in a brewing crypto bull run and altseason, Ethereum must push past $4,000, flipping this price zone into an effective support level that could strengthen the current market structure with bullish targets set as high as $12,000. However, if ETH faces another rejection at this resistance zone, a price correction could occur with potential for price lows around $1,700 in line with the lower boundary of the symmetrical triangle. Related Reading: XRP Price Explosion To $5.9: Current Consolidation Wont Stop XRP From Growing ETH Institutional Interest Waxes Strong In other news, the ETH market continues to see significant market interest from institutional investors. In a separate X post, Ted Pillows reports that UK-based investment manager Abraxas Capital now holds 257,165 ETH, valued at $655 million, following a continuous accumulation spree over the past few days. Institutional investments are strong bullish signals of long-term profitability for the ETH market as they indicate a strong demand from these traditional financial institutions with relatively high amounts of liquidity. At press time, cryptos largest altcoin trades at $2,490, indicating a 6.95% gain in the past week. Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview

Ethereum Trading In No Mans Land, But Analyst Says Breakout Is A Matter Of Time

Ethereum (ETH) continues failing to reclaim the $2,100 resistance, dropping 6% in the past week. As the second largest crypto trades within its make or break levels, some market watchers suggest it will continue to move sideways before another major move. Related Reading: ACT Memecoin Crashes 50% As Several Altcoins Suddenly Tank On Binance Whats Going On? Ethereum Trades At 2023 Levels After closing its worst Q1 since 2018, Ethereum continued moving sideways, hovering between the $1,775-$1,925 price range. Amid last Mondays recovery, Ethereum traded only 6% below its monthly opening, eyeing a potential positive close in the monthly timeframe. Nonetheless, the cryptocurrency fell over 10% from last weeks high to close the first quarter 45.4% below its January opening and 18.6% from its March opening. Moreover, it registers its worst performance in seven years, recording four consecutive months of bleeding for the first time since 2018. Daan Crypto Trades noted that ETH is still trading in no mans land despite its recent attempts to break above its current range. In early March, Ethereum dropped below the $2,100 mark, losing its 2024 gains and hitting a 16-month low of $1,750. The trader suggested that the crucial levels to watch are a breakdown below $1,750 or a breakout above $2,100. Anything in between is just going to be a painful chop, he added. Another market watcher, Merlijn The Trader, highlighted that ETH is at 2021 levels, pointing that it is trading within the breakout zone that led to Ethereums all-time high (ATH) but has stronger fundamentals and more institutional demand four years later. ETH is sitting on the same monthly support that ignited the 2021 bull run. Hold it, and $10K is in play. Lose it and things get ugly, he detailed. More Chop Before ETHs Next Move? Analyst VirtualBacon considers that Ethereum will continue to trade within its current price range for the time being. He explained that ETHs price has fallen to retest the last bear market resistance levels, as it has erased all its gains since November 2023. The analyst considers this zone a good value range but doesnt expect the cryptocurrency to break out right away. However, he added that a bullish breakout is simply a matter of time in longer timeframes. Ethereum always catches up when the Fed pivots and the global liquidity index beings to uptrend. Thats when you see the ETH/BTC ratio start to turn up again, leading the rest of the altcoin market, he concluded. Related Reading: Is Bitcoin (BTC) Poised For A Q2 Recovery? During this period, large transactions fell from 14,500 to 5,190, signaling a drop in whale activity on the network. He also noted that whales have sold 760,000 ETH in the last two weeks. As of this writing, Ethereum trades at $1,903, a 6% drop in the weekly timeframe. Featured Image from Unsplash.com, Chart from TradingView.com

Ethereum Flips Key Resistance Into Support Can Bulls Reclaim $2,000 Level?

Ethereum Flips Key Resistance Into Support Can Bulls Reclaim $2,000 Level?

Ethereum is now holding above critical support levels after a volatile few weeks, but it continues to struggle with reclaiming key resistance zones. Bulls have managed to regain some momentum, helping ETH stabilize above the $1,700 level. However, to confirm a true bullish structure and shift sentiment decisively, Ethereum must reclaim and hold higher ground in the coming days. Related Reading: Ethereum Attempts First Major Horizontal Reclaim In Months Can Bulls Hold the Line? Top analyst Daan shared a technical setup highlighting a promising development: Ethereum is flipping a previous horizontal level back into support. According to Daan, this marks a meaningful change in ETHs market dynamics, as its something the asset has failed to do for months. Instead of consistently rejecting resistance and making lower lows, ETH is now showing early signs of strength by defending critical zones. Still, the battle isn’t over. Global macro uncertainty and tensions between the US and China continue to pressure all risk assets, including crypto. For Ethereum, a daily close above key resistance could open the door to a more decisive move higher, while failure to do so could leave it vulnerable to another round of consolidation or downside. Ethereum Faces A Critical Test After Strong Recovery Ethereum has staged an impressive recovery, gaining over 32% from its local low of $1,383. Now trading firmly above $1,700, ETH faces a crucial test: holding current levels to shift its longer-term bearish price structure into a more bullish trend. After months of relentless selling pressure, this stabilization could mark the start of a larger reversal if momentum is sustained. However, broader macroeconomic risks still loom. The ongoing conflict between the US and China continues to pressure financial markets, with growing concerns that a prolonged negotiation process could disrupt global supply chains. If no resolution is reached in the coming weeks, risk assets like Ethereum could struggle to maintain their recent gains. A breakthrough deal, however, could quickly shift investor appetite back toward risk-on assets, fueling a stronger rally. Daans technical analysis highlights a major shift in ETHs behavior. For the first time in months, Ethereum is flipping a previous horizontal resistance zone back into supporta sign of strengthening market dynamics. Daan suggests closely monitoring the $1,750$2,100 range, as a firm hold above this area would signal a significant improvement in ETHs structure. A daily close above $1,750 and gradual consolidation within this key range would position Ethereum for a potential breakout toward higher levels in the coming months. Related Reading: Bitcoin Rally Lacks On-Chain Support Analyst Warns Of Vanishing Network Activity ETH Price Holds Above Key Support, But Challenges Remain Ethereum is currently trading at $1,790, maintaining its position above the critical 4-hour 200 EMA. This technical level has acted as strong support in recent days, providing bulls with a foundation to build momentum. Holding above $1,700 is crucial to maintain the bullish structure that has started to form after weeks of volatility and selling pressure. To confirm a strong recovery and shift into a sustained uptrend, ETH must reclaim the $2,000 psychological level. A decisive break and hold above $2,000 would likely attract renewed buying interest and could open the door for a move toward higher resistance zones. However, without a strong catalyst, bulls could struggle to maintain upward pressure in the short term. Related Reading: Bitcoin Reclaims Key Levels New ATHs May Be Closer Than Expected On the downside, losing the $1,700 support would signal growing weakness and likely invite further selling. A break below this zone could send Ethereum back into the $1,500 region, reigniting concerns of a prolonged consolidation or deeper correction. For now, the market remains cautiously optimistic, but all eyes are on whether bulls can build enough momentum to reclaim higher ground soon. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Reclaims Key Support At $1,574 Heres The Next Price Target

Market prices of Ethereum (ETH) gained by over 4% in the past day, as the prominent altcoin broke out of a tight consolidation zone between $1,548 and $1,599. Despite some retracement in the last few hours, the growing bullish momentum in the ETH market shows signals of a sustainable price rally. Notably, renowned crypto analyst Ali Martinez has highlighted the potential next price target for the second-largest cryptocurrency. Related Reading: Ethereum Price Rebound: Breakout To $1,800 With These Two Supply Zones ETH Bulls Set Sights On $1,810 Resistance In an X post on April 12, Martinez shares an Ethereum price prediction using on-chain data from analytics company IntoTheBlock. Martinezs post shows that Ethereum has now reclaimed a critical support level at a demand zone between $1,547 and $1,595. This zone represents a significant accumulation area, with approximately 5.48 million ETH held by 2.83 million addresses at an average purchase price of $1,574. The resurgence in buying activity around this price region indicates a considerable trading volume which is critical to sustaining the current bullish momentum. At press time, Ethereum trades at $1,642 showing signs of resilience following its recent breakout.  If the price rally persists, Martinez explains the altcoin is headed for a strong resistance zone between $1,791.11 and $1,838.86. This area contains 1.61 million ETH held by 3.2 million addresses at an average price of $1,810. Notably, this zone is visualized in red indicating that many of these investors are out of the money and are likely to sell once prices recover offering a potentially significant resistance to Ethereums ongoing rebound. If ETH bulls can surge past this resistance level, it could confirm a trend reversal for the altcoin following a consistent decline since the altcoin hit the $4,000 price zone in December 2024. Related Reading: NEAR Poised For Surge To $2.40 As Bullish Pattern Forms Ethereum Market Overview Generally, IntoTheBlocks data shows 56.7% of ETH addresses are currently in the money, representing 8.3 million ETH worth about $13.24 billion. In contrast, 41.99% (6.14 million ETH) of holders are out of the money, suggesting the market sentiment still largely remains cautious. Meanwhile, only 191,830 ETH (1.31% of total volume) is considered at the money, signaling minimal congestion around the current price level, which may favor a swift move in either direction. At the time of writing, Ethereum continues to trade at $1,642 as earlier stated, with a price decline of 8.50% in the last week. Meanwhile, daily trading volume is down by 13.08% indicating a waning market interest which could be potentially harmful to the ongoing price rally.  Featured image from iStock, chart from Tradingview

Ethereum (ETH) Consolidates Within Tight Range As Key Support Level Forms Details

Ethereum (ETH) prices have surged by over 3% in the past day in line with a bullish upswing across the broader crypto market. However, Ethereum on-chain data reveals the altcoin has stumbled in a range-bound market hinting at a potentially prolonged sideways movement. Related Reading: Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Show Conviction: 63% Of Supply Hasnt Moved In A Year Ethereum Trapped In $1,548 – $1,599 Range – Glassnode In a recent post on X, prominent blockchain analytics firm Glassnode reports that Ethereum is trading in a tight range between $1,548 and $1,599. This development is revealed by the asset’s cost basis distribution (CBD), which shows the various price levels at which current ETH holders bought their coins. CBD is an important on-chain metric used to identify potential support or resistance levels based on the accumulation levels seen at price zones. According to Glassnode, a combined 1.53 million ETH, valued at $2.4 billion, was acquired between $1,548 and $1,599 indicating a high level of investor interest at these price regions. In particular, 793,900 ETH currently in circulation was purchased at $1,548, ultimately transforming this price floor into a major support zone for the current Ethereum price. Meanwhile, 732,400 ETH is held by investors at $1,599 representing a significant price barrier to any upward price movement.  Interestingly, Ethereum has tested both price zones over the past day failing to produce either a price breakout or breakdown. Considering the accumulation level at both prices, the altcoin might maintain a range-bound movement barring the introduction of a market catalyst.  Interestingly, such price behavior would align with the broader market uncertainty amidst unstable macroeconomic factors and tightening liquidity conditions. Related Reading: XRP Price Flashes Symmetrical Triangle From 2017, A Repeat Could Send It as Flying To $30 Important Ethereum Support Forms At $1,461 In other developments, Glassnode also notes that Ethereum bulls are building a critical support zone at $1,461 at which 380,000 ETH, valued at $595.8 million have been acquired. In the case of any breakdown from the current consolidation zone, this price level is expected to act as the next major support preventing any further downside. However, a daily price close below $1,461 could cause ETH to trade as low as $1,400 or $1,200. At the time of writing, Ethereum trades at $1,562 reflecting a 3.35% gain in the past 24 hours. However, the ETH market remains in a deep corrective phase with 14.56% and 18.45% losses in the last seven and thirty days, respectively.  Meanwhile, the assets daily trading volume has declined by 34.06%, indicating a fall in market participation and a potential reversal of the recent rally, which would allow Ethereum to maintain a range-bound movement.   Featured image from Bankrate, chart from Tradingview

Ethereum Fails To Break $2,100 Resistance Growing Downside Risk?

Ethereum Fails To Break $2,100 Resistance Growing Downside Risk?

Ethereum has lost its grip on the key $2,000 level, reigniting fears of a deeper correction as selling pressure returns to the market. Since March 19, ETH has managed to hold above $1,930, but recent weakness has pushed the price dangerously close to breaking below the $1,900 mark. The drop has added fuel to bearish speculation, with traders and analysts now questioning whether a larger pullback is underway. Related Reading: Avalanche 12-Hour TD Sequential Flashes Sell Signal After Nailing 50% Rally Details The inability to hold above psychological support levels has weighed heavily on sentiment, especially as broader market volatility continues to grow. Top analyst Carl Runefelt shared his outlook on Ethereums current structure, noting that the asset has repeatedly failed to overcome resistance at $2,100 a level that now acts as a firm ceiling for bullish momentum. According to Runefelt, this repeated rejection suggests Ethereum could be in serious trouble if buyers dont step in soon. With momentum fading and no clear catalyst in sight, Ethereum risks slipping further if $1,900 fails to hold. Traders are watching closely for signs of a reversal, but for now, the path of least resistance appears to be downward. ETH must regain lost levels quickly to avoid confirming a broader bearish trend. Bulls Face Key Test As Resistance Weighs on Price Action Ethereum is under pressure as the broader crypto market faces one of its most crucial tests in months. With macroeconomic uncertainty mounting and fears of a potential recession in the United States, risk assets across the board are struggling to gain traction and Ethereum is no exception. The current market environment remains hostile, with inflation concerns, unstable monetary policy, and global trade tensions shaking investor confidence. ETHs price action has been particularly underwhelming. Despite widespread expectations that Ethereum would lead a strong rally in early 2025, the asset has failed to meet bullish projections. Instead of gaining ground, ETH has stalled and is now struggling to hold support levels amid growing selling pressure. Runefelt’s bearish outlook suggests that Ethereum has repeatedly failed to break through the $2,100 resistance level. According to Runefelt, this resistance zone is critical and Ethereums inability to overcome it could be a sign of deeper weakness ahead. He warns that if Bitcoin experiences a breakdown, Ethereum could follow and potentially retest the wick near $1,750, which marked a local low during a previous correction. With momentum fading and no clear bullish catalyst in sight, Ethereums price structure remains fragile. Unless bulls reclaim key levels soon, ETH could face a deeper retrace, especially if broader market sentiment continues to deteriorate. Traders are closely watching Bitcoin and macroeconomic developments for cues, knowing that a decisive move in either direction could shape Ethereums next major trend. For now, the pressure is on and Ethereums resilience is about to be tested. Related Reading: XRP Open Interest Has Surged 36% In Two Weeks Is Momentum Building? ETH Bulls Struggle to Hold Key Support Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $1,910 after failing to hold above the critical $2,000 level, a psychological and technical barrier that has now flipped into resistance. The breakdown has weakened short-term momentum and left bulls in a defensive position as selling pressure continues to mount. At this stage, the $1,880 level has emerged as a key support zone that bulls must defend to avoid a deeper correction. Holding this level could allow for a consolidation phase and give Ethereum a chance to stabilize before attempting another push higher. However, if ETH loses $1,880, it could spark a wave of aggressive selling, triggering a continuation of the current downtrend and potentially pushing the price toward the $1,750 range. Related Reading: Ethereum Reclaims Realized Price Bulls Face Strong Resistance At $2,300 To regain control of the trend, bulls must reclaim the $2,000 mark as soon as possible. A decisive move back above this level would signal renewed strength and could open the door for a rebound toward higher resistance zones. Until then, Ethereum remains in a fragile position, with the risk of further downside growing as macroeconomic pressure and technical weakness continue to weigh on price action. Ethereum Reclaims Realized Price Bulls Face Strong Resistance At $2,300

Ethereum (ETH) is once again trading above the $2,000 mark after several days of struggle, offering a glimmer of hope for investors looking for a recovery. The second-largest cryptocurrency has faced intense selling pressure in recent weeks, losing over 38% of its value since late February. Panic spread through the market when ETH broke below the key $2,000 level and later plunged under $1,800 a move that signaled weakness and raised fears of a deeper correction. Related Reading: Dogecoin Breaks Above Bullish Daily Pattern Analyst Sees A Surge To $0.43 Despite the volatility, market sentiment is beginning to shift. Some investors now believe that the worst may be behind Ethereum, and a slow but steady recovery could be on the horizon. Supporting this narrative, on-chain data from Glassnode reveals that Ethereum has reclaimed its realized price at $2,040 a level that reflects the average price at which all ETH in circulation last moved. This recovery of the realized price is often seen as a subtle but important bullish signal. It suggests that, on average, holders are back in profit, which may help reduce selling pressure and rebuild confidence in the market. For now, Ethereums ability to stay above $2,000 will be key to confirming a broader trend reversal. Ethereum Faces Pivotal Moment As Bulls Aim To Confirm Recovery Ethereum is beginning to show signs of life after weeks of uncertainty, but a decisive move is still needed to shift market sentiment. The $2,000 level, recently reclaimed, now acts as the key battleground for bulls attempting to ignite a meaningful recovery. As speculation builds around whether Ethereum will continue to trend higher or fall back into a broader correction, price action remains indecisive. Without strong conviction from buyers, the current bounce may fade quickly. To sustain any upward momentum, bulls must defend the $2,000 level with strength and consistency. A failure to hold this support could invite renewed selling pressure and invalidate early signs of recovery. For now, the price hovers in a critical range with no confirmed trend in either direction. Top analyst Ali Martinez shared an important on-chain signal on X, noting that Ethereum has successfully reclaimed its realized price at $2,040. This level reflects the average price at which ETH last moved on-chain and often serves as a pivot point for market sentiment. Martinez also pointed to $2,300 as the next significant resistance, with pricing bands suggesting heavy selling pressure at that level. Reclaiming $2,300 would mark a major technical breakthrough and potentially confirm a shift in trend. Until then, Ethereum remains in a fragile position, caught between renewed optimism and lingering caution. Bulls must step in with volume and follow-through to turn this early bounce into a full-fledged recovery rally. Related Reading: Ethereum Accumulation Is Almost Over Breakout Above $2,200 Could Trigger Expansion Phase Technical Details: Price Struggles Below Key Averages Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $2,070, hovering just above the crucial $2,000 support level. Despite recent attempts to regain strength, ETH remains 5% below the 4-hour 200 moving average (MA) and 200 exponential moving average (EMA) a sign that momentum is still tilted in favor of the bears. These technical indicators often act as dynamic resistance, and until bulls reclaim them, the path to recovery remains uncertain. For Ethereum to initiate a meaningful uptrend, reclaiming the $2,200 level is essential. A breakout above this zone would not only restore short-term bullish sentiment but also confirm a potential reversal from the recent downtrend. However, if ETH continues to struggle below the moving averages and fails to gain traction above $2,000, the risk of further downside increases significantly. Related Reading: Dogecoin Bollinger Bands Tighten On 12H Chart Hinting At Imminent Price Move Insights A breakdown below $2,000 could trigger a sharper correction, with the next major support sitting around the $1,800 level a zone that previously acted as a pivot during the February selloff. As market sentiment hangs in the balance, bulls must act quickly to defend key support and regain control of price action. Otherwise, Ethereum could face another leg down in the coming sessions. Ethereum Could Target $3,000 Once It Breaks Current Supply Levels Analyst

Ethereum has experienced a prolonged consolidation below key resistance levels, struggling to find momentum as it continues to trade sideways. The price has been closing between $2,650 and $2,750 for the past week, creating uncertainty in the short term. With ETH facing selling pressure and unable to reclaim the $2,800 mark, investors are growing concerned about its ability to recover. Related Reading: Solana Sweeps Lows But Recovers Can Bulls Reclaim $185 by Friday? Despite the recent choppy price action, some analysts believe Ethereum could be gearing up for a bullish move. Crypto expert Carl Runefelt shared a technical analysis on X, stating that Ethereum has been forming a bullish pattern on the daily time frame. If this pattern plays out, ETH could see a strong breakout in the coming days. Ethereum is holding at crucial demand levels, making the next move critical for its short-term direction. If buyers step in and reclaim the $2,800 level, it could signal a trend reversal and open the door for a rally above $3,000. However, failure to hold support could lead to further downside, increasing selling pressure. With uncertainty looming, traders are closely watching ETHs price action for confirmation of its next move. Ethereum Consolidation Continues Ethereum investors are trying to stay calm amid ongoing volatility, but fear continues to grow that ETH could see further downside if it fails to reclaim key levels. The price remains stuck in a tight range, trading between crucial liquidity levels of short-term demand and supply. Market sentiment is dividedsome investors anticipate a deeper correction and prolonged consolidation, while others believe Ethereum is on the verge of a recovery rally. Runefelt’s analysis on X states that Ethereum is forming a symmetrical triangle pattern and could break out any hour now. According to Runefelt, the target for this potential breakout is $3,055, a level that could serve as a turning point for ETHs short-term trend. However, Ethereum must first reclaim the $2,800 mark and hold above it to confirm the start of a recovery phase. If Ethereum successfully breaks above this resistance, it could trigger a strong rally, pushing prices back toward the $3,000 level. On the other hand, failure to hold support could lead to another wave of selling pressure. With uncertainty looming, all eyes are on ETH as traders await confirmation of its next major move. Related Reading: Ethereum Holds Multi-Year Bullish Structure Time For A Comeback? With Ethereum trading at a critical juncture, the coming days will be crucial in determining its short-term direction. If bulls sustain momentum and push the price above key resistance levels, confidence in a recovery rally will grow. Price Testing Short-Term Supply Ethereum is trading at $2,750 after nearly two weeks of struggling to reclaim the $2,700 level. While bulls have held above key support levels, ETH remains stuck below crucial resistance, making price direction uncertain. The most critical level that bulls must reclaim is the $2,800 mark, which has acted as a strong supply zone for weeks. If Ethereum closes above the $2,800 level and holds above it, bullish momentum could build up, leading to a breakout. The next major target would be the 200-day Moving Average, which sits around $2,930. A push above this moving average would signal strength and open the door for ETH to test the $3,000 mark. Related Reading: Bitcoin STH Realized Profit Reveals Strong Support Level Time For A Breakout? However, if ETH fails to break above $2,800 and faces rejection, the market could see renewed selling pressure. This scenario would likely send ETH back toward the $2,600 level, testing lower demand zones. With Ethereum trading in a tightening range, a breakout or breakdown seems imminent. Bulls need to step up and reclaim lost ground quickly, or bears may take control and push ETH into lower price levels. The next few daily closes will be crucial in determining Ethereums short-term direction. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Ethereum Forming A Symmetrical Pattern Key Resistance At $4,100

Ethereum is making another attempt to break above the $4,000 level as it edges closer to its all-time highs. Despite its strong fundamentals, doubts linger in the market regarding Ethereum’s performance this cycle, with some expecting it to underperform amid stiff competition from other blockchain ecosystems. However, Ethereums recent price action suggests that it is building momentum, keeping investors on edge for a potential breakout. Related Reading: Bitcoin Stuck Between $99K And $102K Analyst Explains Macro Situation Top analyst Carl Runefelt recently shared a technical analysis, noting that Ethereum has encountered strong resistance near the $4,000 mark and is now consolidating within a symmetrical triangle on the hourly chart. This pattern often precedes a decisive move, leaving traders speculating whether ETH will break out to new highs or face a temporary pullback. Ethereum’s performance at this key level will likely shape market sentiment in the coming weeks. A breakout above $4,000 could pave the way for a rally toward its all-time high, reigniting investor confidence. On the other hand, failure to clear this resistance might validate bearish concerns and lead to a retrace. As ETH remains at a critical juncture, all eyes are on its ability to navigate this pivotal zone and deliver the next major move. Ethereum Preparing To Move Ethereum has been grappling with significant resistance above the $4,100 level, leaving the market in suspense as traders anticipate its next move. With the price consolidating and showing signs of tension, Ethereum appears ready to make a decisive move in the coming days. The critical question remains: will it break higher, or is a pullback imminent? Runefelt shared his insights on X, pointing out that Ethereum is currently trading within a symmetrical triangle on the hourly charta pattern known for signaling potential breakouts or breakdowns. According to Runefelt, Ethereums immediate future hinges on two key levels.  A breakout above $4,100 would confirm a bullish trajectory, likely propelling ETH toward new highs. Conversely, a breakdown below $3,675 would signal bearish sentiment, opening the door for a deeper correction. Related Reading: Solana To New ATH Before Christmas Analyst Expects $300 Soon Runefelt emphasizes the importance of these levels, noting that the symmetrical triangle suggests mounting pressure that could soon lead to significant volatility. As Ethereum holds its position near critical resistance, the next few days are shaping up to be pivotal for determining its market direction. Technical Levels To Watch  Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $3,840 after failing to break above the critical $4,000 resistance level. While the price remains strong and within range of this key level, it needs to clear $4,000 to confirm the continuation of its uptrend. Without a decisive breakout, ETH risks losing momentum, leaving traders and investors cautious about the next move. The $4,000 level has proven to be a significant psychological and technical barrier for Ethereum, with multiple attempts to break it being met with selling pressure. A successful breach of this resistance would likely pave the way for ETH to target higher levels, potentially pushing toward the yearly high of $4,100 and beyond. Related Reading: Dogecoin Will See New ATH Soon Top Trader Sets $2 Target However, if Ethereum fails to overcome this hurdle, the market could see a retrace to lower demand zones. The $3,500 area is emerging as a critical support level that traders are closely monitoring. A dip to this level could provide a strong foundation for a bounce, but losing this support might signal a shift toward bearish sentiment. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView

Should Ethereum break above this barrier, it might quickly pump to $3,900, solidifying its bullish momentum. As the broader market sentiment remains strong, Ethereum’s price action remains unpredictable, especially as it leads altcoins in this upward trend. Investors are now eager to see whether ETH can maintain its upward trajectory and establish new milestones in the days ahead.  Ethereum Reaching New Highs Ethereum is making headlines as it reaches new highs, riding the wave of bullish momentum while Bitcoin consolidates below the $100,000 mark. This rally has positioned Ethereum as a key driver in the altcoin market, which continues to post massive gains and attract investor attention. With the broader market sentiment improving, Ethereums performance is becoming a focal point for traders and analysts alike. Related Reading: XRP Consolidates Below Crucial Resistance Analyst Sets $1.60 Target Crypto analyst Carl Runefelt recently shared a technical analysis on X, emphasizing Ethereums critical resistance level. According to Runefelt, Ethereum is currently at a make-or-break point. A successful breakout above this resistance could trigger a sharp rally, potentially sending ETH to $3,900. If this level is surpassed, Ethereum would likely target yearly highs above $4,000, solidifying its position as a leader in the ongoing market surge. The coming days will be crucial for Ethereum as traders closely watch its ability to maintain upward momentum and overcome these key price levels. With the altcoin market gaining strength and optimism growing, Ethereums next move could set the tone for the broader crypto landscape. Whether it achieves a breakout or consolidates further, the attention on Ethereum highlights its role in shaping this bullish market cycle. ETH Price At A Turning Point Ethereum is currently trading at $3,600, a crucial level that will define its next price direction. As the market watches closely, Ethereums ability to hold above this price will determine whether it can continue its bullish momentum or face a pullback. If ETH maintains strength above $3,600, it is likely to surge further, targeting the next significant milestone: yearly highs at $4,080. A breakout above this level would not only reaffirm the bullish trend but also position Ethereum for a potential continuation toward even higher levels. However, Ethereum could face a short-term correction if it fails to hold above $3,600. The first major demand zone lies at $3,400, which would act as a critical support level. A failure to sustain even this level could lead to further declines, with the next potential support zones forming at lower price ranges. Ethereum Upside Target Around $2,800 As Price Tests Key Resistance

Ethereum is testing a key resistance level around $2,640, and many analysts believe that breaking this point could trigger a significant surge in price. As the entire crypto market gains strength, optimism is growing among investors, who are eagerly waiting for Ethereum to catch up with Bitcoin’s recent rally.  The sentiment is positive, and traders are closely watching to see if ETH will make its move soon. Top analyst and investor Carl Runefelt has shared a technical analysis highlighting an optimistic outlook for Ethereum in the coming days. He believes that a successful breakout above $2,640 could push ETH to much higher levels, aligning with the market’s overall bullish trend.  Related Reading: Bitcoin Whales Grew Substantially During Last Dip, Data Shows Large-Holder Accumulation As the market strengthens, the next week will be crucial, not just for Ethereum but for the entire crypto space, as investors prepare for what could be the start of a new rally. With key resistance being tested and momentum building, Ethereum’s next move will likely set the tone for its performance in the short to mid-term. Investors and analysts are keeping a close watch, as the outcome of this resistance battle could determine the direction of Ethereum’s price action in the near future. Ethereum Needs A Clean Breakout Ethereum looks ready for a significant rally, with price action suggesting a move to new highs. The market is buzzing with excitement as greed rises and bullish momentum takes hold, pushing ETH toward a potential breakout.  After weeks of accumulation, Ethereum is now flirting with breaking out of a bullish pattern, setting the stage for a possible surge. Top analyst and investor Carl Runefelt has shared his technical analysis on X, highlighting that Ethereum needs a clean breakout from its current ascending triangle pattern. According to Runefelt, the upside target is $2,800, which marks the last major resistance level from the two-month accumulation phase ETH has experienced. A successful breakout from this key structure would signal the start of a potential rally, fueling optimism across the market. Runefelt also emphasized the importance of this lower timeframe price action, calling it crucial for Ethereum’s long-term development. Breaking above $2,800 could open the door to even higher levels, aligning ETH with the broader bullish sentiment seen across the crypto market.  Related Reading: Solana Struggles To Break $160 Resistance As Top Analyst Predicts A Coming Surge With the bullish sentiment continuing to build, traders and investors are watching closely, anticipating whether ETH will finally catch up to Bitcoin’s recent rally and set a course for new highs. Key Levels To Watch  Ethereum is trading at $2,640 after six days of choppy price action, just below the key $2,650 resistance level. A breakout above this level is essential for bulls to regain momentum, followed by a reclaim of the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $2,797.  However, there remains a risk that ETH could fail to break through this resistance, leading to a search for liquidity in lower demand zones. If the price cannot clear $2,650, a deeper retrace might occur as the market seeks support.  Despite this risk, as long as Ethereum holds above the $2,500 mark, the broader bullish outlook remains intact, giving hope to investors expecting an eventual rally. In the coming days, Ethereums ability to break through these resistance levels will be crucial in determining whether it will continue its upward trajectory or face a temporary setback. Ethereum Derivative Market Sees Over 50,000 ETH Inflow Price Fall Imminent?

In a bullish trading week, Ethereum (ETH) surged by over 8% as its market price returned above the $2,600 price mark. However, amidst this rally, certain market developments have occurred which raises questions over Ethereums future price movements. Related Reading: Ethereum Price Consolidates: Preparing for the Next Move Higher? 50,000 ETH Flow Into Derivative Exchange – Price To Rise Or Fall? In a Quicktake post on CryptoQuant, an analyst with username Amr Taha reported there has been a positive net flow of over 50,000 ETH valued at $132.12 million on derivative exchanges. In this context, net flow measures the difference between the amount of ETH deposited and the amount of ETH withdrawn from derivative exchanges, which are standard trading platforms for products such as options and futures contracts. Therefore, a positive net flow indicates a higher amount of ETH has been deposited than withdrawn on the last day. Analyzing the implications of this development on Ethereums price, Amr Taha has postulated two situations.  First, the analyst states that a positive net flow to derivative exchanges could indicate a potential rise in selling pressure as traders may be looking to offload their ETH either by opening a short position or selling through a futures contract at a predetermined price. Alternatively, a positive net flow may indicate that traders are depositing ETH to use as collateral for margin or future contracts betting that the price of ETH will rise, thus expressing confidence in the tokens profitability.  Essentially, this massive positive ETH net flow holds significant potential to swing Ethereums price either way based on traders’ actions. Meanwhile, the tokens daily trading volume is up by 12.89% and is valued at $17.06 billion.  However, despite these positive metrics, data from CoinMarketCap shows that market sentiment towards the altcoin is largely bearish as investors perhaps anticipate a price retracement following the ETHs recent gain in the last week. Interestingly, the Ethereum daily chart shows the token is approaching a key resistance level at $2,700 which has served as a strong rejection zone over the last two months. Albeit, the relative strength Index is still some significant distance away from the overbought zone indicating Ethereums price rally may be far from over and may break past this resistance level. In addition, analysts have observed an ascending triangle pattern on the ETH hourly chart indicating strong bullish potential to surge past $2,700 reaching as high as $2,870 in the coming days. Ethereum Faces Sell-Off Risk If It Loses $2,300 Resistance Analyst

Ethereum is at a pivotal moment after failing to break above the $2,500 mark on Monday. With the entire crypto market anticipating a potential rally, Ethereum investors carefully watch for any signs of strength within the network. However, growing concerns about a possible deeper correction loom over the market. Related Reading: Dogecoin Could Break Yearly Highs Any Moment Now Crypto Analyst Key metrics from IntoTheBlock indicate that if Ethereum breaks below the $2,300 level, a significant sell-off could follow, increasing pressure on the price. This has created a tense atmosphere among traders and investors as they wait for a clear confirmation that Ethereum can hold strong above this critical support level. As the broader market experiences uncertainty, Ethereum’s performance in the coming days will likely determine its trajectory. Investors are hoping for bullish momentum, but many remain cautious, aware of the risks that a drop below $2,300 could trigger. The next few days will be critical in shaping Ethereums future price action. Ethereum Price Testing Crucial Demand Ethereum is at a crucial turning point as its price remains indecisive, hovering between two significant levels that could result in substantial gains or losses once the trend becomes clear. Currently trading in a tight range, ETH investors and analysts carefully observe key support and resistance areas. Top analyst and investor Ali recently shared important data from IntoTheBlock on X, highlighting the critical nature of the $2,300 support level for Ethereum. According to the report, around 2.4 million addresses purchased approximately 52.6 million ETH around this level. This makes $2,300 a significant demand zone that, if breached, could trigger a wave of selling as investors look to protect their portfolios and minimize losses. If Ethereum holds above this critical support, the sentiment around ETH could shift toward a more positive outlook. Traders and investors may gain confidence, leading to a potential rally. Ali’s analysis underlines the importance of the coming days in shaping Ethereums price action. ETH Technical Analysis Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $2,420, following a 3% rebound from the lower demand zone around $2,330. Despite the recent recovery, the price remains under 2% away from the 4-hour 200 moving average (MA) at $2,467 and about 3% away from the 200 exponential moving average (EMA) at $2,495. These moving averages are critical resistance levels for ETH in the short term. Ethereum must break above the 200 MA and EMA and target resistance levels above $2,500 to push the price higher. A clear breakout above could open the door for further gains, with investors looking for signs of sustained momentum. In such a case, ETH could retrace to lower demand zones, potentially dropping toward $2,150. Traders and investors closely watch these levels as Ethereum’s next move will likely determine the near-term trend. Featured image from Dall-E, chart from TradingView
